Ning.com hosts 2.3 million social networks, says that it will phased out and kills its free network sites and require network creators to either switch to a paid plan or leave Ning. It’s also laying off 70+ of its employees!

Ning’s announcement also says that it will be giving network owners/creators more details on May 4th.
- Will the network owners/creators wait patiently for May 4th ?
- Will they stay and pay ?
- Will they be able to move their contents to another platform?
